About Brillix

Brillix is a professional services company (consulting and hands-on). Focusing on databases, data-pipelines, identity management and integration platforms.

Brillix was founded By Oded Raz and Alon Spiegel in October 2007. It started off by providing consults and professional services for relational databases, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. As the market evolved, so did Brillix, by adding NoSQL databases to its arsenal of technologies it provides services in.

Alongside databases, Brillix has developed a unique understanding and proficiency in data security; as Oded lands Oracle's distinguished title: Oracle Ace Director in Security. A high level of understanding in both database, and data security paves the road to two distinct directions:

Adding professional services in application / data security and taking on identity-management and access control projects.
Developing a software solution for data masking, when the market still had a void in solutions like it - JumbleDB. JumbleDB has since spun off as a separate company called infognito.

As a complete solution, Brillix does two more things:

Brillix is partnered with some of the leading technology vendors, and resells their products.
Brillix runs a 24x7 Support Center offered to customers that would like to have on-call support for the professional services they receive from Brillix.

Management

Alon Spiegel

Co-Founder, CEO

One of Israel's senior DBA's, with more than 20 years’ experience as a DBA and infrastructure specialist. His career began in the IDF computer unit - MAMRAM where he held several positions, including team leader, and was discharged with the rank of Lieutenant. Following his service in the IDF, Alon worked for several consulting and integration companies and rapidly gained a reputation as a talented DBA who is involved in unique projects – both in Israel and abroad. Alon holds a B.A. in Business from the Interdisciplinary Center (Herzliya) and majored in Information Technologies where he graduated with highest distinction.

In his spare time, Alon enjoys martial arts, mountain biking, snowboarding and skiing.

Yaniv Rozenzweig

VP Professional Services

With 20 years of experience in the IT and IS services, Yaniv brings extensive knowledge in infrastructure and security solutions. Yaniv is considered one of the top leaders in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in Israel and Europe.

Yaniv joined Brillix in 2018 after running one of the three largest IAM solution implementations in EMIA, as an identity and access management leader at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Before Teva, Yaniv managed an information-technology company providing professional IT services.

Yaniv spends most of his spare time on his mountain bike, which is one of his main passions in life.

Oded Raz

Co-Founder

More than 20 years’ experience as DBA (formerly Oracle Ace Director) specializing in database security and as an infrastructure specialist with rich and diverse professional experience and a strong management background. His career began in the IDF computer unit - MAMRAM where he held several positions, including team leader and division Manager, and was discharged with the rank of Captain. Oded built a DBA division in a leading integration company and has held several senior positions in Israeli companies. Oded holds a B.A. in Business and Computer Sciences from the Open University of Israel.

In his spare time, Oded enjoys saltwater aquariums, smart home technologies and listening to music. Motivational word or phrase: The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.
